Woah, these are so artsy and cool! did you set these shots up yourself? Crazy dedication. I missed the party in class on Tuesday :( But i went today and I was the only one who showed and just sat talking with him! i'll miss prof glad the most, he is such a nice guy.

Aw, thanks Amanda! I did set up all of these shots. I worked with a bunch of sociological theories mixed with my own subjective analysis and this is what I came up with. I spent about a month working on these photos. For the past month, I practically lived for making these photographs. That’s how much I got into it. However, since I finished the project this past Tuesday, it feels as if a part of me no loner exists. It’s weird. I know.

However, I'm pretty happy with how the photos turned out. A few people have pointed out how these photographs seem so unlike me, which I find quite interesting. I think with setting up the shots I had a lot more control over what I wanted to portray and convey in the photo, which I really enjoyed. I have to get back into some black & white street photography though. I've been really missing it. I think that might be my next adventure.
