Sweet photos! The second one is almost exactly like a photo I took! and the 5th, makes me think of why so many people just dump their appliances in the most random places. I love nature.
I love these pictures. They are a sad reflection of how nature is taken for granted in the depiction used in black-and-white photos. I love evidence of the "new pastoral" depicted in Renaissance literature in 2007. This should be seen for environmental ministers because we could lose our colours and our beauty that nature has to offer some day. Great job and keep it up!
Mathew – The photograph of the little boy with his mother was such a 'in the moment shot.' I was walking along, and I just saw it. I haven’t taken too many photographs lately of random people. I really enjoy doing that. Although as we’ve talked about before -- not everyone likes their picture taken. So, that’s where it becomes problematic. But people are great photography subjects. You’re my favourite person to photograph. But that’s beside the point. Ha-ha!
Amanda – Really? That’s pretty cool. Great minds think… alike? Hahaha!!! Yes, that picture of the dryer out in the middle of the field is pretty sad. There was quite a bit of garbage in the surrounding area. I took these pictures beside a railway track.
Franco – Your response was like a Wikipedia entry/mini-essay. Ahah!! Thanks so much for all your thoughtful comments. And in the words of our Conservative government: http://www.conservative.ca/EN/2692/41637
You know, your post makes even more sense to me with the fact that it was earth day! i wouldn't have known except for the david suzuki foundation emailing me to let me know (yes, i am a hippy)
Did you see that series called "Planet Earth" The shots were so crazy, and even though it's not still frames, I'm sure you would have appreciated them!

Love always, F.
P.S. I'll call you tonight!

Amanda - David Suzuki is "da bomb." There's just no other way to put it.
No, unfortunately I didn't see the series. Maybe I'll catch a rerun of it sometime.
